NCAP Accreditation
NCAP accreditation is the process of reviewing a coach's coaching experiences and qualifications, and based on the evaluation of the applicant's prior learning and experience, granting NCAP certification without the coach having to go through the entire NCAP course.

Accreditation to NCAP Theory certification may be granted on a case by case basis to coaches who have attended coaching-related certificate, diploma or degree courses. Coaches who meet the following criteria will be eligible to apply for accreditation to NCAP Theory Level 1 certification under the Exemption Clause for Exceptional and Experienced Coaches:
  • Born in the year 1954 or earlier on the date of application
  • Current and active in coaching
  • At least 15 years of coaching experience
Coaches may submit their applications (please click here for Application Form) for SSC's consideration at the following address:

Sports Coaching Department
Singapore Sports Council
230 Stadium Boulevard, Singapore 397799
c/o NCAP Accreditation Coordinator
Fax No.: 6346 1842

The NCAP Theory accreditation process would take up to 4 weeks and there would be accreditation costs incurred regardless of application success. Please email us at ssc_coaching@ssc.gov.sg or call 6500 5306 / 312 for any queries.

For accreditation to NCAP Technical certification, coaches will submit their applications to their NSAs who will make their recommendations to SSC. Based on these recommendations, SSC will decide on the level of accreditation to be granted.
