| First Aid & CPR Courses |
 |
To ensure the safety of athletes, it is essential for coaches to equip themselves with First Aid and CPR knowledge. This will better prepare coaches for emergency situations and alleviate the risks involved in sports coaching.
SSC requires all NROC coaches to have a valid Standard First Aid certificate. The minimum number of hours spent on the Standard First Aid course should not be less than 20 hours long with a theoretical examination and practical assessment including CPR and bandaging of wounds. It should also be equivalent or above the standards of the Standard First Aid course provided by the Singapore Red Cross Society or St. John Ambulance Singapore.
Please click here for a list of SSC Recognised First Aid Courses. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and we will consider other forms of First Aid and CPR qualification if it meets our quality standards.
