The Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association of Singapore (SCTAS) warmly invites you to attend the inaugural Swimming Coach's Conference 2008 (SCC 2008) at the Chinese Swimming Club from 21-23 January 2008.
The SCC 2008 is a congregation of the region's top swimming practitioners with aims of bringing aquatic performance sports to a higher level. This year's keynote speakers include:
- Laurie Lawrence, Master Motivator and former Australian National Coach of the Year;
- Leigh Nugent, Head Coach of the 2004 Australian Olympic Swimming Team; and
- Scott Volkers, Coach of World Record holders Susie O'Neill and Samantha Riley.
Singapore Swimming's 2007 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games coaching staff, headlined by Ang Peng Siong, John Dempsey, and David Lim, will also be sharing success factors to becoming Team Singapore's most successful team at the recently concluded SEA Games.
Other speakers at the conference include:
- The Disabled Association of Singapore;
- Dr. Shu Litgen (M.D.) Medical Director, Body Science Myofascial Therapy Centre; and
- Bryan Tin, Director of the International Sports Academy.
