Sypnosis:
The talk will cover the following areas:
1) significant gender differences in various body systems and their
implications in training and injury patterns;
2) Menstrual cycle and sports performance - physiology of normal menstrual cycle, effect of menstrual cycle on sports performance, menstrual function and bone health, female athlete's triad.
